Dublin, March 12. The King's letter is arrived, for paying
off the national debt of this Kingdom, of 77,500 L. the
circulation of which sum in ready cash, at this critical
time, will be of great advantage. It begins to be paid off
on March 26; but those that are willing to let their
debentures remain in the treasury, will be allowed interest
till June 24, after which all interest will cease----On this
occasion there was the greatest rejoicing by ringing of
bells, bonfires, and illuminations. . . .
