Newcastle, May 6. . . [2 paragraphs] On Friday last died,
in the 86th year of his age, Mr. Andrew Bonsquet, a native
of Languedoc who, for the sake of the Protestant religion,
suffered a cruel slavery of fourteen years in the French
King's gallies. . . On Tuesday evening his corps was
interred at Paddington, preceded by all the children of the
said school, singing in English the four first verses of the
40th psalm, old version; and over the grave, the 30th verse
of the same.
