London, August 14. The following account of the marriage of
his late royal highness the Prince of Wales with the
Princess of Saxe Gotha, the royal parents of our present and
most gracious sovereign, may perhaps be agreeable to our

Monday, 26. The Prince of Wales dined with her highness
at Greenwich in one of the rooms towards the park the
windows being thrown open to oblige the curiosity of the
people; his royal highness afterwards gave her the diversion
of passing on the water, as far as the tower and back again,
in his barge finely adorned, and preceeded by a concert of

Lord Bishop of London, Dean of the Chappel; and after the
same was over, a fine anthem was performed by a great number
