Theatre in Chapel-Street, by permission, by a company of
comedians, the new theatre in Chapel-Street, will be open'd
on Wednesday the 18th inst. with a tragedy written by
Nicholas Rowe, Esq; call'd
The Fair Penitent.
And a dramatic satire call'd,
Lethe, or Aesop in the shades.
An occasional prologue, will be spoken by Mr. Hallam.
And the original epilogue by Mrs. Douglass.
No money will be taken at the door, nor any person admitted
without tickets, which are to be sold by H. Gaine, printer,
at the Bible and Crown, in Hanover-Square.
Boxes 8s. Pit 5s. Gallery 3s.
The doors to be open'd at four, and the play to begin
precisely at six o'clock.
No person can be admitted behind the scenes.
