By permission of his honour the lieutenant-governor, by a
company of comedians, at the new-theatre in Chapel-Street,
on Wednesday, being the 10th of January, will be presented,
a comedy, written by Farquhar, call'd,
The Recruiting Officer.
To which will be added, a pantomime entertainment, in
grotesque charactres, call'd
Harlequin Collector: or, The Miller Deceiv'd.
We presume it wou'd be unnecessary to inform the town that
we must be indulg'd with a clear stage on this occasion.
Tickets to be had of H. Gaine, printer, bookseller, and
stationer, at the Bible and Crown, in Hanover-Square.
