By permission of his honour the lieutenant-governor. For
the benefit of Mr. A. Hallam. By a company of comedians.
At the new theatre in Chaple-Street, on Wednesday next
(being put off to night, on account of the indisposition of
Mrs. Morris) the 10th of February will be presented, a
comedy, call'd,
The Committee: or, The Faithful Irishman.
To which will be added a pastoral farce, call'd
Damon and Phillida.
To begin exactly at 6 o'clock.
Tickets to be had of H. Gaine, printer, bookseller, and
stationer, at the Bible & Crown, in Hanover-Square, and of
Mr. A. Hallam at his lodgings, at Mr. Barwell's, at the foot
of King-Street, and next door to Mrs. Derham's, shop-keeper.
Boxes 8s. Pit 5s. Gallery 3s.
The ceremony of waiting on ladies and gentlemen at their
houses with bills, has been for some time left off in this
company; the frequent solicitations on these occasions,
having been found rather an inconvenience to the person so
waited on, than a complement.
