Between the play and farce a prologue in the character of a
drunken sailor, by Mr. Tomlinson. To begin exactly at 6
o'clock.
Tickets to be had of H. Gaine, printer, bookseller and
stationer, at the Bible & Crown, in Hanover-Square, and of
Mr. Tomlinson near the theatre.
There are partitions made to divide the side boxes, from one
another, and thereby render them more commodious for select
companies. The ladies and gentlemen, who choose to have
boxes reserved for them, are desired to send to Mr.
Tomlinson
The ceremony of waiting on ladies and gentlemen at their
houses with bills, has been for some time left off in this
company; the frequent solicitations on these occasions,
having been found rather an inconvenience to the person so
waited on, than a complement; for which reason, Mr.
Tomlinson hopes the town will dispense with a personal
application, and favour him with their company.
