Mr. Reed flatters himself those ladies and gentlemen who
intended him the favour of their company at his benefit,
will not be disobliged at his postponing it, as the weather
was then too bad for any ladies to walk; and in the opinion
of every one he consulted, seemed likely to be much worse
than it afterwards proved; for Mr. Reed could not but with
the utmost regret, give the least offence to any part of an
audience, to whom the company in general are so much
obliged.
The boxes engaged by ladies and gentlemen last week, are
reserved for them this night.
