To the public, on Friday evening next at 7 o'clock, will be
open'd a concert of music, for the entertainment of such
gentlemen and ladies as please to favour me with their
company, which I purpose to continue every Monday, Wednesday
and Friday, during the summer season. I flatter myself,
from the happy conclusion of the late impending danger, and
the share I have had of the public's favour, (for which I
take this opportunity of returning my most sincere thanks)
that the innocent amusement can scarce give offence to the
most delicate of mankind, as every possible precaution will
be taken to prevent disorder and irregularity; by the
public's most obliged, and most obedient humble servant,
[signed] Edward Bardin. King's-Arms, New-York.
