By permission of his Excellency the Governor. For the
benefit of Mr. Hallam. By the American Company, at the
Theatre, in John-Street, this present evening, the 29th of
May, will be presented,
The Constant Couple: or, A Trip to the Jubilee.
To which will be added, a new comic opera, (never performed
in America,) call'd,
The Padlock.
Tickets to be had at H. Gaine's, at the Bible and Crown, in
Hanover-Square; of John Patridge, at the Theatre, and of Mr.
Hallam. Mr. Hallam having lost a quantity of tickets, and
apprehending that some of them may be offer'd at the doors
of the Theatre, gives this publick notice, that those which
he has issued are distinguished by a particular mark,
therefore it will be in vain for any persons possessed of
the others to apply for admittance.
