The ball at St. James's on Monday night was the most splendid and numerous that has been for several years: Their Majesties entered the ball-room at nine o'clock, when minuets were danced by the royal family and nobility till past eleven; after which country dances commenced. Their Majesties retired about twelve o'clock, and the rest of the royal family, the nobility, &c. soon afterwards. |
