[News via London.] Extract of a letter from Ancona, June 19.
"The day before yesterday letters arrived from the Morea of
good authority, mentioning, that the 30th ult. Prince Orlow
had dispatched 2000 regular troops and 16000 Mainotes from
Navarino to Corinth, to keep their post there, in order to
prevent the Turks entering the Morea. . . the Turks had 8000
men killed, and 1600 taken prisoners, and lost 24 colours,
one officer's staff, 20 kettle drums, 5 pieces of cannon,
and a great deal of baggage and provision. . . "
