Verses continued from our last, by the students of King's
College; on the arrival of his Excellency William Tryon,
Esq; Governor of New-York.

Well pleas'd each bard shall wake the sounding lyre,
Each grateful tongue the glorious theme inspire;
Each gen'rous breast with ardent love shall glow,
And the high notes of joy in gen'ral chorus flow.
. . . [42 more lines, signed:] T. Barclay.
