Princeton, Sept. 25. This day the anniversary commencement
of the College of New-Jersey, was held in the church here.
After the usual procession, the business of the day was
introduced with prayer by the President, and a piece of
vocal music performed by the students. . . [The exercises
began with orations, the subjects of 4 are described] And
the business of the forenoon was concluded with an anthem by
the students.
5th. At 3 o'clock, the audience again convened, and after
singing by the students, Mr. Spring [?] delivered an English

following young gentlemen were admitted to the first degree
