Thursday last being the anniversary of his Majesty's birth day, the same was observed here in the morning by ringing the bells; at noon 21 pieces of cannon were fired at the barracks; and in the evening a number of friends to our happy constitution met, when several loyal and patriotic toasts were drank, and other demonstrations of joy shewn. |
