Theatre. By permission of his Excellency the Governor by the
American Company, at the Theatre in John Street, this
present evening, the 10th of May, will be presented a
tragedy, called,
The Gamester.
Beverley, by Mr. Hallam, Stukely, by Mr. Douglass, Lewson,
by Mr. Goodman, Jarvis, by Mr. Morris, Dawson, by Mr.
Woolls, Bates, by Mr. Byerley, Charlotte, by Miss Storer,
Lucy, by Miss Richardson, Mrs. Beverley, by Miss Hallam.
Dancing, by Mr. Francis.
To which will be added, (for the last time)
The Padlock.
Mungo, by Mr. Hallam, Don Diego, by Mr. Woolls, Leander,
by Mr. Wall, Ursula, by Mrs. Morris, Leonora, by Miss
Hallam.
The doors to be open'd at 5, and the play to being precisely
at half an hour after six o'clock.---Places in the boxes may
be taken at the Theatre; and it is requested, that the
ladies and gentlemen who send to engage boxes, wou'd be
pleased to ascertain the number of seats they wou'd have
reserved for them.
