Theatre. (Never perform'd there.) For the benefit of Miss
Cheer, and Mr. Woolls.  By permission of his Excellency the
Governor. By the American Company, at the Theatre in John
Street, this present evening, the 21st of June, will be
presented, a masque, written by Milton, author of Paradise
Lost, call'd,
Comus.
Comus, by Mr. Henry,  First Spirit, by Mr. Byerley,  Second
Spirit, by Mr. Morris,  Third Spirit, by Mr. Woolls,  Elder
Brother, by Mr. Parker,  Youngest Brother, by Mr. Goodman, 
Bacchanals. Mr. Woolls, Dr. Douglass, Mr. Wall, Mr. Dermot,
Mr. Roberts. Bacchants. Miss Hallam, Miss Storer, Mrs.
Morris, Miss Richardson, Mrs. Wall. Euphrosine, by Miss
Storer,  Sabrina, a pastoral nymph, and the song of Sweet
Eccho, by Miss Hallam,  The Lady, by Miss Cheer. In act 3d,
for the Court of Comus, the Transparent Scenes. Dancing, by
Mr. Francis.
To which will be added, 
High Life below Stairs.
Lovel, by Mr. Hallam,  Freeman, by Mr. Byerley,  Lord Duke,
by Mr. Wall,  Sir Harry, by Mr. Henry,  Philip, by Mr.
Morris,  Kingston, by Mr. Parker,  Coachman, by Mr. Woolls, 
Tom, by Mr. Dermot,  Lady Bab, (with a song) by Miss Storer, 
Lady Charlotte, by Miss Richardson,  Cook, by Mrs. Wall,

End of the farce, (by particular desire) A Mason's Anthem,
by Mr. Woolls.
The play to being precisely at half an hour after six
o'clock.---Places in the boxes may be taken at the Theatre;
and it is requested, that the ladies and gentlemen who send
to engage boxes, wou'd be pleased to ascertain the number of
seats they wou'd have reserved for them. 
Tickets to be had of Mr. Gaine, in Hanover-Square; at the
Theatre; of Mr. Ryan, in the Broadway; of Miss Cheer, at Mr.
Many's, in Nassau-street, and of Mr. Woolls, in Battoe-
street.  Before the masque, and between the acts four pieces
of musick by the band belonging to his Majesty's Regiment of
Royal Welch Fusileers.
