The theatre in this city having been some time in
preparation, is intended to be opened in a few days, for the
charitable purpose of relieving the widows and orphans of
sailors and soldiers who have fallen in support of the
constitutional rights of Great-Britain in America. It is
requested that such gentlemen of the navy and army, whose
talents and inclinations induce them to assist in so
laudable an undertaking, be pleased to send their names,
(directed to T.C.) to the printer of this paper before
Tuesday night next.
