[from London.] Mr. Amelot, Minister of the Department of
Paris, has sent orders to the opera not to suffer any women,
of whatever distinction soever to enter that theatre with
feathers or caps that are too high; what occasioned this
order was, a Duke being at the opera some time ago, was
entirely blinded from the sight of that performance by the
feathers of a lady sitting before him, the Duke upon making
a complaint, obtained the abovementioned order; several
ladies have since been refused admittance.
