Last Thursday evening the comedy of the West-Indian, written
by the elegant Mr. Cumberland, Secretary to the Lord's
Commissioners of the Board of Trade, with Mr. Garrick's
farce, of Lethe, were performed, and much applauded by a
crouded and very brilliant audience. The same play, with
The Citizen, and all the songs, an excellent farce, written
by Mr. Murphy, will be performed next Thursday, when the
tickets of those gentlemen and ladies who, on account of the
uncommon fullness of the house, could not be accommodated
with places, will be received.
