| Citation | NYM(G.779.081 6 Dec 1779:32 (1468) A subscription is opened by the officers of the navy and army for an assembly at Hick's Tavern, on Thursday evening next. Each subscriber to pay half a guinea, which will entitle him to a gentleman and a lady's ticket. Subscriptions taken in and tickets delivered by Mr. Hick, till Wednesday at twelve o'clock at noon, when the subscription will be closed. A further subscription will hereafter be opened for an assembly once a fortnight during the winter. |
