[News from London, November 2.] Extract of a letter from
Cadiz, Sept.9, 1782.  "The Count d'Artois on Friday evening
last gave a grand entertainment and ball to the principal
officers and nobility about the camp.  The Count was dressed
upon this occasion in a very elegant manner, his garment
being made of one entire piece of rich purple velvet, richly
embroidered with gold fringe. . . [15 more lines] The
entertainment was magnificent beyond description; the
choicest viands, richest wines in abundance, the finest band
of musical performers in Europe, the company being mostly of
the male sex, very little dancing took place. . . "[9 more
