Theatrical Intelligence. December 9, 1779.
An unknown scribbler, under the signature of an Auditor,
having been inadvertently permitted to obtrude on the public
through the channel of the last Royal Gazette, the curious
in manuscripts are informed that the original, verbatim &
literatim (i.e. unadulterated by the orthography of Mr.
Rivington's compositor) may now be seen at Mr. Petit's, next
door to the Theatre. If the auditor will call there for his
invaluable piece, he will receive a proper reward, and no
questions asked.[signed] Horatio.
