London, June 13. The following plan was sent on Friday by
the lord mayor to the aldermen and deputies of the several
wards of the city, recommended to the general meeting of the
housekeepers, viz. The alderman or deputy of each ward, and
the several housekeepers and gentlemen being met, that they
throw themselves into four divisions by ballot; each
division, with their arms, to take watch by rotation. That
the housekeepers and gentlemen not on guard have their arms
ready prepared, to proceed on beat of drum to the head
quarters of the ward. . .
