Five dollars reward.  Run-away from the subscriber, on
Wednesday the 5th instant, a Negro man, named Sam, about 5
feet 9 inches high, between thirty and forty years old,
speaks good English and Dutch, can play on the violin:  Had
on when he went away, a home made brown cloth short coat, a
double-breasted homespun mixt jacket, old leather breeches,
and an old caster hat.  Whoever takes up said Negro man, and
secures him in gaol, or delivers him to his master at Stone-
Hook ferry, six miles above Albany, shall be paid the above
reward, and reasonable charges. [signed] Francis Marshall.
