The 13th instant we received a copy of the following account
and prayer from Mr. Pinto, minister of the Jews Synagogue in
this city. "Thursday last, the 11th August, being the
Thanksgiving Day for the re-establishment of peace. . .
[text used in service quoted] proper psalms used, viz. 117,
118, 136, 16, 75, 8, 21, 29, 61, 111, 133, 67, 47 . . . "
[Hebrew prayer follows. At the end of report:] "The last
verse of Psalm 145, and the last out of Psalm 115."
