London, April 26. Yesterday at noon the Earl of Darnley,
Grand Master elect of the Antient and Honourable Society of
Free Masons, in a chariot drawn by six fine horses, attended
with upwards of an hundred coaches and chariots, went from
his Lordship's house in Pall-Mall, where the company
breakfasted, which cost his Lordship two hundred pounds, and
then proceeded thro' the city to Fishmonger's Hall, where a
grand entertainment was provided: There were three pair of
kettle drums, six trumpets, and eight French horns, properly
dispos'd in the procession.
