Abstract of the votes of the House of Commons of England.
Ordered, That leave be given to bring in a bill to enable
his Majesty, his heirs and successers, to grant his or their
letters patent to any person or persons to act represent or
perform, or to cause to be acted, represented or performed,
any interlude tragedy, comedy, opera, play, farce, or other
entertainment of the stage, or any part therein, within the
city or liberties of Edinburgh, and that the Lord Gleorcby
[?], the Lord John Mary, Mr: Moule and Sir Arthur Forbes do
prepare and bring in the same, Veneris 30 die Martii 1739.
