By authority.  Not acted these eight years.  By the American
Company, at the New Theatre in Southwark, this present
Monday evening, being the 2d of November, will be presented
a tragedy, called, 
Venice Preserv'd, or, A Plot Discover'd.
Pierre, by Mr. Hallam. Jaffier (for the first time) by Mr.
Henry. Priuli, by Mr. Douglass. Bedamar, Mr. Wall.  Renault,
Mr. Morris. Duke, by Mr. Tomlinson. Spinosa, by Mr. Malone.
Eliot, by Mr. Greville. Theodore, by Mr. Woolls.  Durand, by
Mr. Roberts. Officer, by Mr. Allyn. Attendants, by Mrs.
Morris, and Mrs. Tomlinson. Belvidera, (for the first time)
by Miss Cheer. Singing by Mr. Woolls and Miss Wainwright.
To which will be added, (acted by once) a new farce, called,

Neck or Nothing.
Slip, by Mr. Hallam.  Martin, by Mr. Morris.  Belford, by
Mr. Wall.  Sir William, by Mr. Allyn. Mr. Stockwell, by Mr.
Tomlinson. Miss Nancy Stockwell, by Miss Hallam.  Jenny, by
Miss Wainwright.  Mrs. Stockwell, by Mrs. Douglass.
  To begin exactly at six o'clock.--
Vivant Rex & Regina.
   Tickets are sold at the London Coffee-House, and at Mrs.
Allyn's, next door but one to the Theatre, where places in
the boxes are to be had.
   Boxes, seven shillings and six-pence.  Pit, five
shillings.  Gallery, three shillings.
+++  As the theatre will be closed, for this season, after a
very few nights, those ladies and gentlemen who are
possessed of tickets, are requested to make use of them as
soon as they can with conveniency.
