Extract of a letter from Boston, dated July 26, 1770.
Our people have determined to adhere to the Non-Importation
Agreement in its full extent, and have ordered all the goods
back immediately, which was last imported and held in
suspence, till certain news of what might be done with
respect to the duty of tea reached us. -- The town has been
patrol'd at mid-day, with colours flying and drums beating;
on the colours was wrote in capital, "IMMEDIATE EXPORTATION
WITHOUT EXCEPTION."
