Specimen of the literary abilities of the D--- of C------,
being one of the letters wrote during his late amour with
Lady Grosvenor.
From the London Morning Chronicle, July 5.
My dearest little angel, I wrote my last letter to you
yesterday at eleven o'clock just when we sailed I dined at
two o'clock and as for the afternoon I had some music I have
my own servant on board that plays and a couple of hands
from London for the six weeks I am out---

I have just been reading for an hour this morning in Prior
and find this few lines just now applicable to us
Now oft had Henry changed his sly disguise,
Unmarked by all but beautious Harriets eyes;
Oft had found means alone to see the dame,
