By art and surprize, my Lord swears he'll succeed, 
That Great Britain shall groan, and America bleed;
For that purpose the house in haste he dissolves, 
And on the same men and fame measures resolves.
What a wretch! not to know he's courting disgrace, 
And that vengeance may hurl him headlong from his place.
