New York, May 20, 1734. On the 18th arrived here the brigt.
Eglinton Capt. Atkinson, from Louisburg on Cape Breton, in
four weeks passage. She was bound thither from hence last
fall, in company with the sloop Le Caesar, with provisions.
They were blown off the coast, the brigt, to Martineque, and
the sloop to St. Thomas: the brigt. with her provisions
arrived at Louisburgh in March last, on which Te Deum was
sung there, the people being almost starved. . .
