The following circumstance, which happened at Berlin very
lately, occasions much speculation. His Prussian Majesty
being at the French playhouse, sitting between the Earl of
Hyndford and the Marquis de Valori; the curtain drawing up
suddenly, and several people creeping behind the scenes,
leaving half their bodies to the view of the audience; the
King said, smiling, to the Earl of Hyndford, Yonder is the
perfect picture of the French Ministry, abundance of heels,
and never a head. At this the Marquis de Valori look'd
exceedingly grace, thought every body else laughed heartily.
