Run away from the subscriber, of Cecil county, Maryland, on
the 10th of April last, an indented Indian or Molatto
servant-man, named John Maycum, about 25 years of age, a
tall and well-set fellow, saws with a whip-saw, and plays on
the violin: Had on when he went away, a castor hat, and
white linnen cap, check shirt, blue drugget jacket, dark
broad cloth breeches, with shoes and stockings. Whoever
takes up said servant, and secures him, so that his master
may have him again, shall have forty shillings reward, and
reasonable charges (if brought home) paid by [signed] John
Chick, junior.
N.B. The above fellow has been used to the seas.
