London . . . November 29. On Wednesday, the 20th, was rung
by the Leeds youths at Leeds in Kent, a compleat peal of
5040 Bob Major Double, in three hours and sixteen minutes.
Also was rung on Friday, the 22d, but the same youths, a
compleat peal of 5040 Bob Major, by eighteen men only, in
three hours and eighteen minutes, at Wrotham in Kent, being
the first compleat peal rung on that new and musical peal of
eight bells, cast by Messiers Lester and Park.
