Madrid, Feb. 24. His Majesty, desiring that the Spanish
nation should enjoy all the fruits of a flourishing peace,
has ordered the necessary preparation for the payment of the
personal debts of the late King Philip V. which has so often
been promised the publick. In order to enable his Majesty
to discharge this obligation to the late King his father, a
saving will be made of all the unnecessary expences of the
court in shews, comedies, &c. for the space of three years.
