Philadelphia, April 28, 1757. Notice is hereby given, that
the subscriber has again opened his singing school (for the
summer season evenings) at his school in Third-street, next
the Reverent Mr. Tennant's Meeting-house; where any person
may be instructed in psalmody, that is capable to learn that
agreeable art. Those who incline to enter, may see the
conditions at the said school. [signed] Josiah Davenport.
N.B. The person that borrowed Gay's Fables of him, with
cuts, is desired to return it.
