Citation | PG-P.760.049 9 Oct 1760:32 (1659) Likewise run away, on the 4th of September last, a Negroe man, named Toppen, about five feet ten inches high, speaks good English, plays on the violin, formerly belonged to the aforesaid [Captain Charles] Ratcliffe [Senepuxtion, Worcester County, Maryland], and is suspected to make towards Senepuxtion. Whoever takes up said Negroe, and secures him, as aforesaid, shall have five pounds reward, and reasonable charges, paid by [signed] Joseph Shankland. |
