That on Friday, the 30th of July, a chosen number of
soldiers attacked the Moore Castle [in Havannah], and took
it by storm. . . [5 lines] That on said 10th of August, at
twelve o'clock, Lord Albemarle sent an officer, with a drum,
to the Governor of the Havannah, to demand possession of the
town; . . . [10 lines, refused, English bombard.] upon
which the Governor sent out three officer, with a drum, in
order to desire time to think of terms of capitulation,
which was granted; . . .
