Boston, September 12: . . . [5 paragraphs, article dedicated
to the Stamp Act and its cause for public outcry] and in
the evening many loyal healths were drank by numbers of
gentlemen who met at several public places for that purpose;
but it did not rest here, for the morning following
(Wednesday) was ushered in with the ringing of all the bells
in the town, and joy and gladness appeared in every
countenance.
