Boston, June 26, 1769. . . [32 lines] We hear from New-
London, that on Sunday Evening, the 11th, ult. Mr. Danial
Shaw was married to Miss Grace Colt of this place.---The
next evening an elegant ball was given by Nathaniel Shaw,
Esq. to 92 of the principal gentlemen and ladies of that
place, who attended and danced 93 jiggs, 52 country dances,
45 minuets, and 17 hornpipes.---The greatest order and
decorum was observed, and the company retired at 45 minutes
after 12 o'clock.
