Peter Young, joyner and musical instrument maker, living on
the west side at the upper end of Second-street, about the
middle between Vine and Callowhill-streets, next door to Mr.
Adam Stricker, in Philadelphia, makes, mends, and has for
sale all sorts of musical string instruments, as spinnets,
glassicords, and violins.--Guittars, made in the neatest and
newest fashion, the strings toned with a watch key. As he
has followed the business these several years, and being
desired (by several gentlemen of his acquaintance) to
publish it, he flatters himself, those gentlemen and ladies
that have hitherto had no acquaintance of him, as well as
his former friends, will favour him with their custom, when
they may depend upon having their business executed with
neatness, punctuality, and dispatch as well as at reasonable
rates by thy humble servant, [signed] Peter Young.
