The comedy of The Shipwreck, or, The Brothers, to be acted
this evening at our Theatre, not being, perhaps, so
universally known, as the West-Indian, and Fashionable
Lover, of the same author, it may not be improper to inform
the public, that it possesses a fund of real comic humour,
and genuine character; the sentiments are every where
introduced with the utmost propriety, and the dialogue is
natural: those whose gravity will permit them to indulge
themselves with an innocent laugh of this [?] house, may be
sure of a very pleasing entertainment at the representation
of this comedy.
