Philadelphia, October 23, 1773. Mr. Forrage, at his house,
in Cherry-alley, next door but one to the Lutheran Church,
takes [ ] to inform the public, and his friends in
particular, that he still continues to teach, as usual, the
violin and spinnet, in the most approved and easy method; he
likewise carefully attends to instruct young gentlemen and
ladies, at their respective places of abode, any others
within this city; and as he teaches on the most reasonable
terms, he hopes for further encouragement from his good
friends and the public, which shall be gratefully
acknowledged, by their very humble servant, Stephen Forrage.
N.B. Music books, and tutors for the violin, to be sold at
the place abovementioned.
