MUSICK IN THE PUBLIC WORSHIP OF God, URG'D AND ENFORCED FROM
SCRIPTURE, and the far greater part of Christians in all
ages.---Addressed to all (particularly the Presbyterians and
Baptists) who have been hitherto taught to look upon the use
of instrumental musick in the worship of God as unlawful.---
-By a Presbyterian.
Musick has charms to sooth the savage breast,
To soften rocks, and bend the knotted oak. [signed]
Congreve.
