I here send you the following lines, adapted to the season,
of Doctor Doddridge, whose very valuable treatise, intitled,
"The Rise and Progress of Religion in the Soul," is
excellently adapted to awaken sinners, and to build up
saints, and therefore justly applicable to all.

Well may thy praise our lips employ,
While in thy temple we appear,
Whose goodness crowns the circling year.
