  The Rev. Samuel Williams, having been chosen to succeed
the late excellent and honorable Dr. Winthrop, as Hollis
professor of mathematics, and, of natural and experimental
philosophy, in the University of Cambridge, was last Tuesday
publicly inducted into that office. . . . 
  The exercises were closed with harmoniously singing part
of the 148th psalm, followed by an anthem.
