Boston, November 5. At the desire of the inhabitants of
this town, the Reverend Mr. Wight's meeting house, at the
south part of the town; the Old Brick, in the centre; and
the Reverend Mr. Elliot's, at the north, are to be opened
this day at ten o'clock, for the purpose of a public
acknowledgement to heaven, on a day set apart for rejoicing,
on account of the appearance of providence in behalf of the
United States of America, by the capture of Lord Cornwallis
and the whole British army under his command--An anthem is
to be sung before and after prayer. . .
