Citation | PGCJ.781.034 1 Dec 1781:31 (935) [Philadelphia] Wednesday last came on the election of president and vice-president of the Supreme Executive Council of this state, when his excellency William Moore, Esq; was chosen president, and the Hon. James Potter, Esq; was chosen vice-president. Proclamation thereof was made at the Court-House in this city at on o'clock, whereupon the bells rang, and the artillery was discharged, and other demonstrations of joy were exhibited on the occasion. |
